privacy policy

Ferried is a small, one-person app for sending short notes to people you're close to. This page describes what it collects, why, and how to delete it.
what we collect
- Your name. The first name you share via Sign in with Apple (or "friend" if you choose to hide it).
- An account identifier. A stable identifier from Sign in with Apple, used only to recognize your account.
- The notes you send. Note text is stored only long enough to be delivered and read, then automatically deleted — Ferried does not keep a permanent archive of what you've written.
- A device push token, so we can notify you when a note arrives.
- Your device time zone, used only to compute when a note expires at your local midnight.
- Subscription status. Apple's App Store handles all payment details directly — Ferried never sees your card information. We only store whether a subscription is currently active.
what we don't do
- No advertising, no ad networks, no third-party analytics or trackers.
- No selling or sharing your data with anyone outside of running the app itself.
- No access to your notes' content by anyone other than the friend you sent it to.
where it's stored
Account and app data is stored with Firebase (Google Cloud), the backend Ferried runs on. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple's App Store.
deleting your data
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from the app: Settings → delete account. This removes your account, your connections, and any of your notes still stored on our servers, immediately and permanently.
children
Ferried is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
